Hello
My name is Marc and i live in Germany near Cologne.
I´m Land Rover enthusiast and owner of a 88 series IIa and a 109 Series II.
The S II Station i found in bad condition and decided to build a pickup with truck cab, 9.00 and MK2 winch like an early prototype of a series IIa one ton.
I was looking for a set of ENV axles. So i buyed a 109 HT in Southport. Unfortunately it was a One Ton fitted on a 3/4 Ton mil chassis. It seems to have been a SEB One Ton in his first life. But without the right VIN not interesting.
My S II projekt is growing up.
Last week i was looking for ENV front half shafts for spare parts. They are really hard to find.
A friend of mine gave me a straight tip.
Saturday i`ll go to Austria and keep a ex Fireengine FC IIa Rosenbauer-Chassis.
It`s in very lovely condition.
I think, it want`s to be restored.
I know, i`m crazy. But i feel good.
Regards Marc

The SEB 1-Ton you mention did have an ID, I wonder what happened to it, you can see some photos of it on my website.

Re: Hello from Germany
Jep. In its first life it was a very nice LWB.
Now it's in very poor condition with a stolen history. The previous owner couldn't find out the old chassis number
and without a V5 it isn't possible to bring it on the road again.
But it came with a lot of spare parts.
A Truck Cab, second set of ENV Axles, Helical Gearbox, Wings, a set of brand new Springs and a set of 204 Rims made it to an interesting deal.

Re: Hello from Germany
Welcome - this time from the Czech Republic.
If you find a Rosenbauer SIIA FC and get any spares you don't need, I could be interested in some body parts, replacements are sometimes difficult to source. For example the rear lights are Hella items which were also used on Porsche 904's, so the prices went through the roof. I found a pair of replacement *lenses* for them (yes, not complete lamps) for 349 euro for the pair the other day
One of mine is broken and a handful of other details would be nice, so if you have anything you'd be willing to part with, let me know
By the way, I'm Drozd on the Blacklandy forum, just in case you visit that one more often.
