Just picked up this months ( or last months its hard to tell ) came with a free classic tractor. (… err the magazine that is and not an actual tractor. ) Any way lots of nice fire engine stuff , not as much Das as normal , but there was a special guest appearance by SEB and Dan in the show bit . Ill try and sort out the photo later.

Yes sadly not much Das in the last one, but they did manage to sneak a candid shot of me in. The strange posture is due to the fact I was nattering away at the time the photo was taken and didn't realise I was being photographed!

The next issue should be out tomorrow.
I took out a subscription at Billing show which has proved handy, means I don't have to search for it in the shops. I think the magazine still has a bit more maturing to do but I like how it is going so far. In my opinion it needs to start taking in a little bit more historical aspects, not just "here is so and so and their nice Landrover" as I think it is incorrect to assume that all readers already know the Landrover story. Some kind of instalment based history would be nice, not every mind-numbing detail but enough to give a casual enthusiast a bit more knowledge. One mag (I forget which one) used to do a feature on a given year (say, the series 2 being launched in 1958) which then included a bit of general info about that year, I always found that interesting.

Issue 7 hits the Shops today, plenty of 9.00x16 shod vehicles to look at, a 101 Ambi, a GS 101 compared against a Pinzgauer, and a lovely working IIB FC still running a six cylinder.

There's also a well written column as to why there would be no classic land rover scene without the Discovery, and a handy 2014 wall planner.

Sneaky, got it past me any way.

Just picked up the current LRC or CLR or what ever, only read Das and the editors bit, but looks quite interesting. Is the "stone wall " 101 on ths forum? I seem to remenber some thing like that, but I cant find it now.
