I had a look at LRO in my local supermarket, didn't see much interesting, put back on the shelf...I simply cannot justify the cost just to read the single page they give James Taylor. There was a nice article too on the IIA station wagon that came to the show at Eynsham last year though.

I think it does remind me a little of early LRW, about the same size and some of the same writers, but better content. It took me a few reads to really get into it. I didn't expect it to be perfect right away but I think its pretty good. More writers will be in the next editions as well

Issue two seems pretty good again, and as Das says, some aspects of interest to us here. I am still missing a "from the archives" section or at least a few pages on the history of the company/vehicles. The focus seems very much on owning and using the vehicles, I take it it is taken for granted that readers know their history?

Just got the July issue (not that means much because all these mags seem to be a long way out of sync with the real calendar). I liked it, it is a bit thin compared to LRO, but then it did seem to be made up of all the best bits of LRO/LRW. Mind you Das is right about the contributors. The chap on the back page seemed very familiar (but then they are all like that ). It seems we have more celebrities in our midst, we should forget Strictly and field a team for that get me out of the jungle lark . How do you feel about snakes .

If we take two Range Rovers, a helicopter and loads of macheties we should do just fine in the jungle. :p

I would take some sandwiches too, I have seen the food they eat on the telly and to be honest it does not look that good to me.
