As this is the "900" club, 265/75R16's will have no place on my truck!!!

9.00x16 is now available in SA as it is standard fitment on the Iveco Daily 4X4........but a set will cost more than you paid for your truck.

Michellin 255/100R 16 XZL available from Tyre 2000 in Pta. Will get a price for you soon. They only supply on order though. Bar Grip 900x16 available in Maun and Gabarone, Chinese made.

So I guess a set would cost more than you paid for your FC. I suggest you first have a good look at your tyres' condition when you get your truck, before you contemplate a pre-mature hernia

Hell, and I thought tyres in the Congo were expensive.... LOL.

I might have to go for a set of 31" either in 9.5 or 10.5 on 15" steel?

Ultimately I'd like to get the largest tyre on as possible without doing a coil spring conversion.
I am budgeting for a coil spring conversion, but only in the new year, I'll see how things go.
Having said that, if you have any connections who could do the job, any info would be appreciated.

They are going to be about 3 inch diameter smaller. that going to be about 10% lower gearing. if you have standard gear box and do a lot of on road driving you might find that a draw back.

35" tyres from MAXXIS is a reasonable and rather cheaper option at this stage, I would think.

Yes, I do know of a workshop in Pretoria that could do a coiler FC for you.
