According to the media pack cover price is £3.99 with digital versions available. I should think I'll bite at that.

I was just reading the press pack. I hope I can lever some serious publicity for the 1-Ton register and the forum and website somehow. I'm certainly keen to see it take off.

I think there is a gap after the demise of Land Rover Enthusiast magazine- this always had the most 'period' content. LRM actually bought the title but in the style of many a take-over then closed it down to remove a competitor but acquire the subscription list.

The old 'rule of thumb' for classic cars was more than 25yrs old but my guess is there will be no hard and fast rules for a new mag like this. At the moment the press pack say it will focus on pre-1989 models or at least pre-electonics.

I think something more about originality, history and restoration would be appealing to me rather than the current clutch of mags. We'll see I guess but at the moment I'm pleased to see a mag of this sort coming along.

What actually happened between LRM and LRE was more a behind the scenes issue - the publisher of LRM bought the publisher of LRE, they then decided it didn't make sense for them to publish two competing magazines. LRE presumably had the lesser circulation and so got canned.
I agree their demise was a real shame as the mag was generally very good on the more classic side, I still have many editions at home which I refer to.

The Land Rover show there is something that should have been taken out and shot years ago.

LRW does still exist, Mike Gould is editor now I think.

So it is, haven't seen it on sale locally for at least a year now, assumed it went to the wall, either that or local distribution stopped because I picked apart all the details in a 5 page article on FC's I was credited with helping write and was wonderfully inaccurate.

I got lured I'm to buying it yesterday by a 110 with full cage on the cover. Should have throw the £4.20 down the drain.

This months LRM is full of errors and boring.

I'm not going to be popular with this - this months LRO is great!
