One ton station wagon

Postby Eoforwic » Thu Nov 08, 2012 7:58 pm

Hi,

I know there were photos on the last forum, but does anyone have any of the safari body that got put onto a one ton chassis. I think the REME had something to do with it and it was beige? It would be great if someone did.

Cheers.

Alex

Jeremy - I think he meant EET, that Ben Stock in the Series II club had. There aren't many photos of it about. 2286 diesel with 1-Ton box on 900s...its back crossmember is now on SEB. ;)

Thank you, that was exactly what I meant. Was it not on a Q plate?

What was the story on it? 1 ton or a combat chassis?

It ended up being chopped up. I don't know why exactly, something to do with identity issues.
