We have some parts that came with our FC, they are from a Post Office FC, these include a gearstick that comes out through the front of the seatbox and a longer bracket that fixs it to the engine in the standard six pot way, also we have an engine cover that is higher than usual so it could carry a crew of 3 in the cab !If anybody you know is restoring one and may require these pls put them in touch with us.

I guess you mean from a GPO cherrypicker? I think some of them were modified to allow a three man cab.

Hi, I have an ex BT/ GPO cherry picker, in line for restoration. Any chance you could send us a picture of the bits you have available? I know my engine cover had been butchered to fit a perkins engine so would be interested in the engine cover (I will be putting a 6cyl back in) and any other bits you have available. Don't suppose you have the storage lockers from the back body? One of mine is missing the roller shutter.

We have the cover for the engine that allows a third seat to be added, we also have the gearstick that comes through the front of the seatbox. sorry we have not got the storage lockers, (the previous owner broke up the vehicle)
Photos are a problem for me on here as we are not very "teccie" and do not have photobucket etc

Johnd,

I am going to the LRO Show at Peterborough, I can take the cover etc if you are going, you can have them as I would rather give them to someone to make use of that put them in the scrap

Hi

Please dont scrap them!

Unfortunatly i am not able to make Peterborough this year. Dont supose anyone from the South Coast is heading to Peterborough and would be able to bring them a bit further South so i could collect?

If not i will investigate postage costs or driving up to Kent to collect.

Thanks
