This is my 110 ex BT. I have taken the racking off the roof for daily driving.

Here is the 6 Cyl 109, I was hoping to get it finished over summer. But I was been let down by the guys supply the Bulkhead. They took 3 months to deliver instead of the 3 weeks they promised.

Re: Hello from Shropshire
I don't think that is ex-BT, more likely ex-E-on Central Networks.

BT Defenders were quite plain by comparison.

Re: Hello from Shropshire
The reason I joined the forums is that after I've finished the 109 I would like to get my hands on a 1 ton. I've had a look at the forum and website and I think the 1 tons are amazing vehicles.
Do you have any advice on my quest to own one?
Are there any 1 ton events that I can start to get involved with?
My ideal vehicle would be a 1 Ton series 2, not scared of a bit of restoration. But not sure I've got the time to dedicate to another chassis up. I would consider trading my current vehicles for one.

Re: Hello from Shropshire
1 ton wonder, that's what I initially thought but it's was full of bits of BT paper work and someone handily wrote its service history on the underside of the bonnet, all relating to BT.
Re: Hello from Shropshire
Hang on, I think I know what may have happened - they may have been owned by a company called BTFleet (which is part of the telecoms firm) which would explain the BT bit, but the user was almost certainly E-on, it is even in a close reg sequence to the vehicle I posted. It is like when I worked at SSE a lot of their vehicles were actually owned by another company and leased, to the paperwork related to the lease firm.
As to any 1-Tons for sale - well any seen would be in the for sale section but as you will appreciate they do not come up very often, and can sometimes be in a pretty appalling state. Any we find out about will be advertised here first.
