Hellow, My name is Wayne living in Yorkshire . I recently got a S2A 1Ton but my chasis no. is 25112419C registered 1967 as HBV359E she is ex military almost certainly a fire tender . Members vehs start with chasis nos. 222 but registered on a G or H plate ? Can anyone help me with this ? Ta .

A 251 chassis prefix is for a 2.25 petrol 109", which ties in exactly with the ex-MOD history. Although the vehicle may well have extended spring hangers they are not 1-Tons, that term was erroneously applied by dealers etc "back in the day". This is why your vehicle doesn't have a 22* chassis prefix. The genuine 1-Tons have ENV axle, a different gearbox and steering box, and ran 9.00x16 tyres on 6.5" rims, wheras the MOD vehicles had the ordinary gearbox and steering box, as well as 7.50x16 tyres on 5.5" rims. 1-Tons also had the six cylinder petrol engine, although the handful of TACR1s built for the MOD did have the 2.25 engine but were otherwise to 1-Ton spec. (Genuine IIA TACR1s have chassis prefix 231) Incidentally the UK MOD never used the six cylinder 1-Tons.

Your C suffix chassis would be about right for 1967 so the registration on E reg would be about right. As most MOD vehicles got a new reg when released it sounds as though yours has already had an age-related plate applied.
