Hello from Italy

Hi to all, this is Marco from, Italy. When student, i had a 1977 109 series 3. It has been my daily car for a decade... when needed big jobs because age and pollution regulations, I had to put her aside, waiting to collect enough money.
Then I moved to China for almost ten years. So, very reluctant, I sold her. Back in Italy after a while I felt urgency to drive again a Land Rover... 
Since I always dreamt about V8 and admired RR mk1 elegance, I started to look for a 2doors RR.. One day on youtube, following a RR video, there was a video for a Stage 3.5v8... As the guy closed the door, started engine and began to drive, all 109 memories and feeling came over and I forgot about RR. So, two summers ago, one July morning, I took a flight to London, with some thousands pounds in pocket and no luggage, to drive home (two days) a 1987 OneTen HT V8. I can't afford a 1 ton, so I went for a One Ten!  Jokes apart, I love her, it sounds wonderfully and, because never imported in Italy this model, I keep getting compliments and offers to buy her. Thx, not.
Now restoring some body rust trouble and customising interiors with all Smiths gauges and my design dash. 
Looking to keep traditional rims but dreaming to mount 9.00 tyres, I got to know about 1 Ton.
I got two sets of 6,5j rims, but will almost impossible to use 9.00x16. Italian bureaucracy is crazy and clumpsy., but I will try. Probably I wrote too much...
