1962. If my theory and research is correct the serial number of yours should be between 315 & 890, as long as its the original pump. The only exception would be if its a Forward Control winch, which appear to have a separate numbering system. And correct you are, I had given up then just now while ...

Thanks for your replies, i couldn't see a number on the winch &; didn't want to start scraping paint off as I may be fitting it & like the look of it with layers of paint ETC. I checked the PTO pump & I think it shows that it's likely all parts are the original set here's a picture of the PTO pump. ...

Hmm. . not sure there's anything in that area, will check later, here's my pump, i don't know which is the year date, 63, 62 or 59 ?
